Responsibilities

Perform key roles to delivering core infrastructure & foundational technologies within the OCI data center environments
Understand which issues to escalate to the appropriate internal OCI groups
Perform repairs, installation and monitoring for your data center spaces
Understand all aspects of the equipment you support and keep learning to drive performance improvement of the hardware
Take action when appropriate and escalate when required
Take direction when it is given, paying attention to all details involved
Expected to improve current processes and introduce automation with aim towards simplification

Required

6 to 10+ years of experience in Information Technology
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Skilled technician on a wide range of data center systems

Knowledge of all aspects of the equipment supported
Willingness to learn and drive performance improvement of hardware
Ability to take action when appropriate and escalate when required
Ability to take direction and pay attention to details
