Technician Wireless Tower Work
VCI Construction is seeking a Wireless Tower Technician based in Upland, CA, responsible for the installation of wireless tower site electronics and hardware. The role involves adhering to safety standards while ensuring high-quality work is completed efficiently and timely.

Responsibilities
Must have a valid driver's license and transportation
Travel to and from job sites
All phases of underground construction include but are not limited to: Loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal and placement of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment
Restore and repair all disturbed property
Able to use the following tools: Backhoe, Jack Hammer, Jumping Jack, Hole Hog, Roto Hammer, Cut-Off Saw, Portable Water Pump, Saws-All, pedestals, cables, plastic conduit, shovel, rake, sledgehammer, pipe wrench, wire cutters, bolt cutters, cable cutters, drilling shafts, etc
Manlift certification and/or tower climbing experience a plus
Qualification
Required
Must have a valid driver's license and transportation

To be 18 years of age or older
Authorization to work in the United States for this company
Must be able and willing to work outdoors and in inclement weather conditions
Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes, weighing 40 to 90
Must be able to maintain visual and audible contact with other crewman and all moving or stationary persons/vehicles/objects to ensure safe coordination of movement
Must be able to operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery
Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl while performing work
Must be able to ascend and descend ladders
Must be able to work in small/confined areas
Must be able to work while wearing safety boots, safety glasses, hardhat, and any applicable safety gear
Must be able to perform fiber testing, sweep testing, RET controllers
Must be able to work at heights
Applicants are required to pass all company drug testing, DOT Physical, submit to a background check and adhere to all OSHA, state, city/municipality safety requirements and training provided by the company as required
Preferred
Manlift certification and/or tower climbing experience a plus
