Responsibilities
Perform assigned HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting task safely in commercial and industrial settings
Perform preventative maintenance and repair of commercial HVAC equipment as needed
Diagnose causes of breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to equipment and associated components
Service, diagnose and troubleshoot various types of split systems, packaged rooftop, rooftop units, heat pumps, DX systems, pneumatic, electrical control systems, and other mechanical equipment
Diagnose causes of breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to equipment and associated components
Use your HVAC skills and experience to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain medium to large sized complex heating and cooling systems and associated control systems, ranging from 3 tons to 1280 tons
Complete required electronic documentation daily on a handheld device
Work independently, and as part of a team, to complete assigned tasks within an allotted time frame
Operate company vehicle to complete service calls in a specified territory
Perform other related duties or special projects, as assigned
Qualification
Required

Diagnose causes of breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to equipment and associated components

Proficiency with electrical and mechanical diagnostics
Familiarity with blueprint, schematic, drawings, and other equipment layout materials
Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening
Ability to pass MVR check
Ability to pass a physical ability test
Ability to travel, as needed, for projects
Preferred
3 or more years of experience repairing and troubleshooting commercial HVAC/R equipment
EPA universal certification
Experience with RTU, air handlers, split systems, chilled water, or boiler systems
OSHA 10 certification
