Responsibilities

Conducting maintenance and repairs of the city’s stormwater system
Cleaning and clearing stormwater channels, culverts, and ditches
Performing regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them promptly
Responding to drainage-related emergencies and coordinating with other city departments and contractors as needed
Assisting in the construction of new stormwater infrastructure projects

Qualification

CDL Class B licenseHeavy equipment operationDrainage system maintenanceCommunicationProblem-solving skills

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Six (6) months of previous experience that demonstrates the ability to fulfill the physical requirements
Able to obtain a CDL class B license within (12) twelve months of employment
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
