Responsibilities
Animal handling, restraint, and husbandry
Administer IV, IM, PO and SQ medication
Perform routine radiographic procedures and venipuncture procedures
Do laboratory procedures including urinalysis, heartworm tests, and other diagnostic tests
Assist with surgery, including surgery prep, monitoring, recovery, instrument prep, sterile technique, skin closure, etc
Other technical procedures include nail trims, anal gland expression, ear cleaning, urine and fecal collection, cleaning wounds, removing sutures, changing bandages, dispensing medication, client education, and admitting and discharging hospitalized patients

Ability to multi-task
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
High School Diploma or equivalent
