This fast-paced position involves the efficient handling and sorting of fruit to ensure quality and proper grading, along with maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment.

Responsibilities

Unload fruit onto conveyor belt or fruit table for grading

As needed grade and sort products according to factors such as color, species, length, width, appearance, feel, smell, and quality to ensure correct processing and usage

Discard inferior or defective products and/or foreign matter, and place acceptable products in containers for further processing

Seal and fill empty juice drums as needed

Grade and sort products according to factors such as color, species, length, width, appearance, feel, smell, and quality to ensure correct processing and usage

Notifies supervisor of unusual problems

Works in accordance with all company policies and procedures

Follows health and safety guidelines. Maintain and keep work area according to cGMP

Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations

Conduct all verification activities to assure finished product comply with food safety and quality specifications

Participates in the yearly review of the food safety system

Assist in the maintenance of Food Safety and Quality system

Responsible for Non-GMO SGS Supply Chain Standards
