Responsibilities

Lead and support lean initiatives across the site
Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities using lean principles
Facilitate kaizen events and visual scheduling projects
Train and coach teams on lean tools like 5S, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, TPM, and more
Track and report on lean activities, savings, and performance metrics
Support daily lean management meetings and help develop recovery plans
Assist with new process and product implementations
Promote open communication and employee involvement in lean efforts

Required

BS/BA in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
3+ years hands on experience in Manufacturing Environment
Lean Manufacturing / Process Improvement
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
3-5 years of experience in lean manufacturing or process improvement (Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5S etc etc)
Working knowledge of lean tools and production balancing
Value Stream Mapping
MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PP)
Willingness to travel up to 25%-50%

Preferred

Certifications or extensive Training in Lean Tool Methodologies & Deployment
Six Sigma, 5S / 5S deployment, Kaizen, Kanban, TPM, SMED, Lean Daily management, Tiered Accountability Boards
Minitab is a plus
