Provides Age-Appropriate Care To Patients

Job Specific Responsibilities
Receives report from the RN and off-going BRT when reporting for duty
Maintains A Safe Environment For The Patient
Understands the care for specific diagnoses such as suicidal, eating disordered, drug or alcohol withdrawal, PICA, Alzheimer’s, anoxic brain injury, etc
Communicates to patients that they are a high priority even during busy times
Participates in Competency Validations, Educational Activities, and Staff Meetings
Demonstrates competency for one-to-one observation of patients based on the care of the suicidal patient policy this includes always maintaining constant observation of the patient
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED (required)
1 year of relevant patient care experience (required). Prefer 2 years working with behavioral health patients
CPR through American Heart Association BLS Provider required
CPI required within 6 months of employment
