Responsibilities

Maintain and repair all bowling-related equipment

Maintain and clean physical bowling lanes as well as preventative maintenance

Maintain stock and requisition supplies for bowling equipment

Inventory bowling-related supplies (i.e. balls, spare pins, cleaning supplies) on a scheduled basis

Maintain computer system(s) administration for bowling

Maintain a safe and functional bowling experience

Keep detailed records of parts, costs, and mechanical performance

Assist with miscellaneous projects as directed

Assists management in initiating smooth and efficient operations

Work together as part of a team to provide the best overall guest experience

Required

High School diploma or GED

Minimum 1 year with Bowling Technical background required

Working knowledge of computer operations and systems

Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics

Must be comfortable with and adhere to all safety precautions when working with moving mechanical parts

Basic math and measurement skills

Be able to communicate clearly and effectively with managers, staff, and guests

Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers in English

Ability to communicate, work well with others, work in a high-volume, and sometimes stressful environment

Will be moving throughout the venue during the entire shift

Will be lifting or moving 50 - 100 pounds

A good sense of balance, will be bending, kneeling, sitting, crouching, and crawling frequently

Will be using body and arms repetitively and moving between multiple levels using stairs

Will be working in an environment with loud music, smoke and crowds for extended periods of time

Will be standing or staying in a stationary position for entire shift

Preferred

Previous experience in a bowling facility or in a maintenance tech position
