FWS - Student Assistant - Financial Aid
Georgia Highlands College is a multi-campus institution that serves over 6,000 students in Northwest Georgia and Northeast Alabama. They are seeking a Student Assistant for Financial Aid to help facilitate the financial aid process and assist students with various inquiries at the customer service desk.

Responsibilities
Is responsible to understand, support, and carry out the college's mission, vision, and values and comply with mandates and regulations of government and accrediting bodies
Assists at the One Stop Shop customer service desk (McCorkle Building-Floyd Campus)
Assists students and visitors with financial aid processes as needed (FAFSAs, Verifications, Scholarship applications, logging into Charger Portal, email, schedule bill, and other basic financial aid processes)
Posts campus event flyers and advertisements
Assists with document management including shredding, scanning, copying, and filing
Participates in mandatory trainings
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be currently enrolled at Georgia Highlands College
Must be Pell Grant eligible (FAFSA)
Must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
Must have an unmet need based on total cost of attendance of student
