Responsibilities

Read and utilize blueprints, maintenance manuals, ATA codes, illustrated parts catalogs, service bulletins, and other maintenance documents to troubleshoot and complete work assignments
Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections, maintenance, repairs, and alterations of aircraft, including engines, power plants, and components, in accordance with FAA, manufacturer, and company standards
Conduct detailed inspections of aircraft systems (e.g., hydraulic systems, de-icing, landing gear, etc.) for leaks, cracks, distortions, foreign object damage, and other irregularities
Perform inspections during assembly of parts and after repairs or component installations
Accurately document maintenance procedures, discrepancies, and corrective actions in maintenance logs and records, ensuring compliance with FAA and company documentation requirements
Run diagnostic tests, interpret results, and implement corrective actions as necessary
Safely operate power and hand tools (e.g., cranes, grinders, wrenches, torque tools, etc.)
Ensure USCIS, DOT, and FAA compliance when completing required inspections and authorizations
Communicate effectively with other technicians, supervisors, pilots, and operational staff to ensure safe and timely return of aircraft to service
Promote safety within the workplace by adhering to all safety standards and reporting potential hazards
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

Required

Must be at least 18 years of age
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification
Ability to read and interpret FAA regulations, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation in English
Minimum of 2 years' aircraft maintenance experience (commercial, regional, or equivalent military experience accepted)
Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the country without restrictions
Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently; proficiency in Spanish is a plus but not required
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products, including Office 365, Excel, Outlook, and Word; familiarity with similar software applications is also required
Ability to type a minimum of 30 words per minute
Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive, customer-focused attitude
Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to effectively interact with a variety of personalities while maintaining a high level of professionalism
Skilled in coordinating multiple priorities, managing deadlines, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to handle interruptions and changing priorities with flexibility and a strong attention to detail
Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team-oriented environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, delivered with professionalism and tact
Must pass a DOT-required pre-employment drug screening and be willing to submit to and pass FAA and Company-mandated random drug and alcohol testing
Ability to pass a 10-year work history background check, as well as criminal history and fingerprint checks, as required by the TSA
Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and irregular shifts as operational needs dictate
Must adhere to all safety regulations and work in a professional manner, complying with OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulatory requirements

Preferred

A minimum of nine (9) months of prior airline or aviation industry experience is preferred
High school diploma or GED certification preferred
