Responsibilities
Perform special inspections and testing of construction materials in the field in order to verify conformance to the applicable codes, project plans, and specifications
Project management support, client coordination, staff supervision, and scheduling
Conduct in-field training for staff and new hires on active projects
Collaborate with field and lab teams to implement safety and LPS (Loss Prevention System) standards
Participate in the interviewing and selection process for recruiting field staff
Support the management of equipment maintenance, calibrations, field files, document control, etc
Qualification
Required
Certifications and experience related to Special Inspection and Materials Testing or 4-year degree in engineering, geology, or environmental science, or graduation date within one year of employment
Certifications in the following are required: ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician- Grade I, Nuclear Gauge, ICC Certifications
Proficient in using a tablet
General knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook required
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
