Penn Highlands Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to fulfill the role of Customer Service Specialist. The primary responsibility involves managing Referral Customer Service and Coordination processes while establishing positive relationships with customers and referral sources.

Responsibilities

Complete all Referral Customer Service and Coordination processes and procedures in cooperation with the Billing Department, Authorizations and Verifications Department, and Home Health and Hospice Scheduling Department, in a timely, efficient and effective manner
Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and referral sources, responding to customer requests and concerns

Qualification

Licensed Practical NurseMicrosoft Office ProductsOrganizational skillsTelephone etiquetteMultitaskingVerbal communicationWritten communicationInterpersonal skills

Required

A Licensed Practical Nurse with a valid PA Nursing License
Six months to one year relevant experience and/or training or a combination of both
General computer knowledge including Microsoft Office Products
Strong organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Excellent telephone etiquette
Ability to multitask
