Lubrication Technician

Delta360 is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Lubrication Technician. This role involves ensuring the proper lubrication and maintenance of industrial equipment, including turbines, compressors, and hydraulic systems, while adhering to safety protocols and documenting maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

Perform routine lubrication tasks on various industrial equipment according to maintenance schedules
Inspect equipment to identify lubrication needs and potential issues
Monitor lubricant levels and quality - recommend adjustments or replacements as necessary based on several factors that include but are not limited to oil analysis, eye test, vibration/ultrasonic analysis, and/or time-based factors
Clean and maintain lubrication equipment and tools
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Document maintenance activities, including lubrication schedules, quantities used, and equipment conditions
Assist in troubleshooting equipment problems related to lubrication
Monitoring equipment lubricant levels
Lubricant top offs
Time/Condition based oil changes
Monitor/Clean spills and leaks
Change oil filters
Change/Clean sight glasses
Complete Preventative Maintenance tasks
Document, track, and share all findings/actions
Install/uninstall vacuum dehydrators
Adjust settings as needed for vacuum dehydrators
Install/uninstall filtration equipment
Adjust settings as needed for filtration equipment
Lube cabinets management
Bulk lubricants management
Grease management
Future project planning
Follow first in - first out inventory procedures
Order all necessary lubrication to keep required stock at proper levels
Create/Run sample routes using proper sampling techniques
Deliver samples to oil analysis lab
Create reports highlighting current lubricant issues
Offer solutions/recommendations to lubricant issues
Acquire greaseable motor decibel readings
Grease equipment as dictated by ultrasonic analysis
Track and trend the data obtained in the field
Reservoir cleaning
Oil flush and fills
Commissioning
Grease line purging
Equipment lubricant labeling/color coding system
Identifying proper sampling points

Required

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in mechanical maintenance preferred
Basic computer skills such as navigating email, Word, and Excel Spreadsheets (Only Beginner Level of Experience Required)
TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Card)
Proven experience in industrial maintenance or similar field is a plus (1+ years)
Basic understanding of lubrication principles and techniques
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers
Ability to lift 10lbs – 75lbs at various frequencies as well as crouching, stooping, stair climbing
Ability/willingness to work in the cold/heat on various jobs
Eagerness to change gears from one job to the next as well as working on jobs and tasks from time to time that may be outside your general job description
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures

Preferred

Certification as a Machinery Lubrication Technician (MLT) or Machinery Lubrication Analyst (MLA)
