Responsibilities

Greeting, welcoming and assisting the traveling public

Providing information of interest relative to hotels and other accommodations, ground and air transportation, tourist attractions and activities

Disseminates maps, brochures and periodicals at the airport

Speaking a designated foreign language while conversing with the traveling public

Providing interpreter services as required

Required

Experience which demonstrated the ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions, and a high degree of verbal skill

Knowledge of the ability to speak the ONE of the following languages in addition to the English language: JAPANESE, MANDARIN, KOREAN, TAGALOG, HAWAIIAN, SAMOAN

Possess a valid driver's license to drive in the State of Hawaii at the time of appointment

Undergo a pre-employment fingerprint-based criminal history record check and be found free of disqualifying convictions during the preceding ten years

Be a citizen, national, or permanent resident alien of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States
