Responsibilities
Work diligently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong commitment to safety
Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.)
Design a plan of action for all maintenance tasks and upgrades
Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
Assemble mechanical components according to specifications
Examine machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems
Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records
Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
Monitor inventory and order new parts when necessary
Offer consultation on maintenance and preventative procedures to machine and vehicle end users
Perform any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned
Qualification
Required
One-year certificate from college or technical school
Minimum of three (3) months related experience and/or training as a mechanic
Solid knowledge of basic mechanic's tools, service, and diagnostic equipment
Ability to work diligently in a fast-paced environment
Strong commitment to safety

Preferred
Six (6) months to one (1) year of related experience or training as a mechanic
Commercial Driver's License (CDL). (Candidates are required to obtain a CDL within three (3) months of employment.)
