Responsibilities
Support our patients as they work toward the goals and objectives of their individual treatment plans
Manage the milieu on each unit through close observation and interaction with all patients
Assist patients with daily living skills
Carry out other duties as delegated by and completed under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
Qualification
Required
High school or General Educational Development diploma; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Listing as a Nurse Aide I by the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation
Preferred
Basic knowledge of a variety of psychiatric, medical and/or other related conditions
Basic knowledge of nurse aide skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Ability to communicate effectively with individuals, staff and others
Ability to maintain professional and even-tempered demeanor and work relationships
