Associate Attorney - Colorado
Rausch Sturm LLP is a creditors’ rights law firm seeking an individual to fill the Associate Attorney position for their Colorado practice. The role focuses on reviewing information for collection eligibility and handling Colorado litigation work, including court motions.

Responsibilities
Determine eligibility of files for collection efforts and the issuing of demand letters
Review pleadings, including lawsuits and motions for default judgment
Provide analysis and advice on legal and regulatory risks
Maintain familiarity with state and federal consumer laws and keep abreast of any changes in state or local rules applicable to practice
Qualification
Required
Licensure is required with admission to the Colorado Bar
License to practice law in Colorado is required
Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws
Ability to analyze case law and provide recommendations
Ability to draft legal pleadings
Ability to compose and/or review reports, legal opinions, correspondence, and other documents
Maintenance of professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public
Ability to prioritize and organize a high volume of information
Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
Preferred
Knowledge of Bankruptcy Law or the FDCPA/FCRA/TCPA is a plus but is not required
Experience in collection law is a plus but is not required
