Responsibilities

Coordinates and assists in the preparation of project and training schedules; processes and tracks orders, service requests, and documentation; responds to inquiries from court staff, external agencies, and the public; prepares and handles confidential and sensitive documents with discretion; serves as a backup to Judicial Administrative Assistants as needed; provides support for Case Management functions during absences or high-volume periods; drafts and prepare legal notices and court orders for judicial review and signature; maintains and update court calendars on digital platforms to ensure accuracy and timeliness; coordinates and assists with special events; participates and serve on specialized workgroups as directed; arrange and assist with travel accommodations for staff; serves as the Training Coordinator for Superior Court, Justice Courts, and Municipal Courts; maintains and updates employee training records; creates and distributes training calendars for court staff; performs complex clerical and administrative tasks in support of court staff, judges, and the public

Required

Associate's degree in a related field from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the US Department of Education
three (3) years of work experience in a court setting or progressively responsible administrative work experience
must possess and maintain a valid Arizona Driver's License and the ability to be covered by county insurance
Applicants must successfully complete a criminal background check and fingerprinting
Considerable knowledge of court operations and basic legal terminology
Considerable knowledge of technical legal search engines and resources
Considerable knowledge of case management processes and software
Considerable knowledge of the operation and procedures of a court and the justice system
Considerable skill in producing documents that are well organized using proper sentence construction, punctuation, grammar
Considerable skill in organizational, time management, and multi-tasking abilities
Considerable skill in providing reports and analyses regarding projects and objectives
Ability to analyze, interpret and solve complex problems
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, elected officials, other agencies, and the public
Ability to organize assignments, follow priorities, meet deadlines, and make independent decisions if needed
Ability to research facts, analyze, and identify resolutions to issues
Ability to maintain confidentiality of court-related information
Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions accurately and efficiently
Ability to work effectively individually or in a team environment
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Ability to communicate effectively and successfully with customers of varying skill levels, communication styles, and personality types
