Senior Maintenance Technician

Restek Corporation is seeking a hands-on Senior Maintenance Technician to help maintain and repair production equipment and facility systems in their manufacturing operations. Responsibilities

Perform scheduled maintenance on manufacturing assets, systems, and associated equipment
Adjust and monitor Building Automation System (BAS) settings
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing issues
Use meters and diagnostic tools to test and repair equipment
Assist with the installation of machinery, electrical systems, and facility components
Support small construction projects, including carpentry, drywall, painting, and ceiling installations
Perform welding and metal cutting as needed
Maintain accurate records using computerized work order systems
Track inventory of maintenance equipment and materials
Provide reports and recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements
Follow OSHA regulations and company safety standards
Train and mentor junior technicians on proper safety procedures
Assist with winter maintenance, including snow removal
Plan, budget, and oversee small-scale facility improvement projects
Lead and collaborate with contractors and vendors as needed
Be available for on-call support outside of scheduled hours for urgent maintenance issues

Required

High school diploma or equivalent, plus vocational training or equivalent experience
Minimum 8 years' experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance role or commercial construction trade such as electrical or HVAC
Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment maintenance and repair, electrical troubleshooting, basic HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting, and commercial facility maintenance
Understanding of OSHA regulations, International Building Code (IBC), and National Electrical Code (NEC)
Ability to train others on proper safety procedures
Basic computer skills, including CMMS software and minor BAS programming
Ability to use multimeters and amp meters for troubleshooting
Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities
Ability to work independently and in a team
Valid Pennsylvania driver's license
Willingness to be on-call for emergencies (weekends and nights)
