Prince Telecom is a leading provider in fiber optic networks, and they are seeking a Fiber Installation Technician to set up and maintain these systems. The role involves installing, troubleshooting, and educating customers on fiber optic internet and telephone services.

Responsibilities

Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet, and telephone based on guidelines

Install, setup and configure all equipment

Identify and try to remedy sources of customer-perceived issues

Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement

Educate the customer regarding product and service usage

Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment

Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed

Perform work in all weather conditions

Other duties as assigned

Qualification

Telecom experienceFiber experienceLadder experienceDiplomaGED

Required

To be 18 years of age or older

Authorization to work in the United States for this company without sponsorship

High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience

Telecom experience (Fiber experience preferred)

Ladder experience

Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record

Routinely: work at heights, in confined spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, work with arms above shoulder level, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift greater than 55 pounds

Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
