REAL ESTATE ASSOCIATE I-II

The Port of Stockton is a leader in the Maritime industry and a major economic driver for the San Joaquin Valley, seeking a skilled Real Estate Associate I-II to assist with the administration, marketing, and leasing of its industrial, commercial, and warehousing properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of commercial real estate principles and practices, providing high-level customer service and project support across various functions.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative, technical, and project support across core departmental functions ranging from Leasing to Electric Utility operations
Provide a high level of customer service to Port tenants and other stakeholders
Draft, review, and maintain lease agreements, amendments, contracts, and notices
Participate in developing and implementing marketing strategies for Port properties
Contribute to promotional and marketing materials, website updates, and outreach communications

Required

Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in real estate, business, economics, finance, or a related field; or
Associate's degree plus two (2) years of para-professional experience in commercial real estate functions (leasing, appraisal, development, etc.); or
Completion of real estate coursework or valid California Real Estate Salesperson/Broker License
Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in real estate, business, economics, finance, or a related field; or
Associate's from an accredited four-year college or university in a related field plus one (1) year of full-time experience in commercial real estate; or
Associate's degree plus three to four (3–4) years of increasingly responsible experience in commercial real estate roles
Must possess and maintain a valid California driver's license and be insurable under the Port's liability policy or provide other insurance acceptable to the Port
Possession of a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card, to be maintained throughout employment
