OTR Tire Technician
Colony Tire Corporation is seeking an Off-The-Road (OTR) Tire Technician responsible for tire and related service and repair for off-the-road equipment. The role involves operating heavy-duty tire service equipment, performing inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities
Must have a valid driver’s license for the type of vehicle required for the position and be able to meet commercial driver qualification requirements. CDL license required
Operation of a 30,000 pound GVW OTR Service Boom Truck
Follow established procedures to inspect tires, and wheels before and after service
Determine repairable tire conditions and make such repairs
Review work orders and discuss work with supervisors
Document work performed accurately and according to company policy
Operation of heavy duty tire service equipment and tools including boom cranes, cribbing, jacks, compressors, electric and hydraulic equipment
Unbolt and re-bolt wheels from/to equipment, using lug wrenches and other hand and power tools
Mount and dismount any type of off-the-road tire including but not limited to multi-piece rims
Match mating of dual assemblies
Identify and inflate tires correctly for the size, ply, and load requirement
Replace valve stems and remove puncturing objects
Perform service calls on nights and/or weekends on a rotating basis
Proper maintenance of assigned service vehicle including appearance as well as on board service equipment and tools
Compliance with OSHA and MSHA regulations and safety requirements pertaining to this position
Qualification

Preferred
High school diploma or equivalency, and/or related experience is preferred but not required
