Events Coordinator

Responsibilities
Serve as primary point-of-contact for events, including after-hours, and provide on-site supervision
Develop, maintain, and update policies and procedures related to special events
Conduct post-event debriefings and generate reports incorporating feedback
Develop and coordinate year-round events and programs
Implement marketing plans to promote recreation, health, and wellness programs
Select and manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance
Communicate with clients to meet requirements, provide customer service, and manage guest interactions
Provide operational support during events and assist other departmental divisions as needed
Perform clerical tasks such as copying, filing, data entry, and document preparation
Prepare invoices, reports, memos, and letters using office software
Conduct supply inventories, create requisition forms, confirm deliveries, and process payments
Provide accurate information and direct inquiries to appropriate departmental contacts
Qualification
Required
Valid Driver License
Experience in clerical, customer service, or event coordination
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and office equipment
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to follow instructions and handle calls professionally
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
