Responsibilities

Interacts with park visitors and campers and answers questions regarding camping regulations, fee schedules and/or park rules
Interacts with park visitors in a courteous and professional manner
Performs light maintenance, landscaping and picking up trash/litter
Verifies overnight visitors are adhering to the park self-pay rules
Provides weekly activity reports to the Pinal County Open Space and Trails Department
Reports park violations to the Pinal County Open Space and Trails Department
Prefer a commitment to volunteering from October – April

Required

Able to deliver outstanding customer service
Any combination of education, training and experience that would provide the necessary skills for this volunteer assignment
Ability to pass a background check
A valid Arizona State Driver's License may be required
Knowledge of camping regulations, fee schedules and park rules
The ability to work independently to complete daily activities according to work schedule
Ability to maintain accurate activity reports and park violation records

Prefer a commitment to volunteering from October – April
