Student Employee - Union Event & Program Supervisor
NEOGOV is associated with the University of Central Missouri, and they are seeking a Student Employee to serve as the Union Event and Program Supervisor. Responsibilities
Brainstorms, plans, and implements traffic-generating programs for the Elliott Student Union, with a focus on Union events
Helps plan and coordinate Elliott Student Union special events
Makes reservations on 25 Live and confirms set-up arrangements
Hires, trains, and supervises Program Assistants
Connects with student organizations to encourage collaboration with the Student Union to enhance the student learning experience outside of the classroom
Assists in the development and implementation of the student employee training program
Assists in overseeing evening and weekend operations of the Elliott Student Union as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be currently enrolled at the University of Central Missouri Junior/Senior level student
Minimum 3.0 undergraduate GPA
Attention to detail
Budget-related skills
Communication skills, including oral, written, and/or nonverbal
Human Relations/ Interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines
Maintain confidentiality
Preferred
Graduate Student preferred
Knowledge of a University environment is preferred
