GC Pro Account Manager- Outside Sales (San Francisco, CA & Denver, CO)
Guitar Center Music Foundation is a leading retailer in the music industry, dedicated to fostering creativity and musical expression. They are seeking a GC Pro Account Manager to drive business development by promoting audio, video, and lighting solutions to meet client needs and achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities are creating sales, orders, contracts for services
The Account Managers time should be spent in the field away from the stores or there office approx. 50% or greater generating new clients and nurturing existing clients
Achieve sales targets while demonstrating the ability to create steady growth within a specific area or region of the country and supporting the needs of new and existing clients
Create effective business plans for generating new sales leads. Follow-up and follow through with leads (self-generated) to achieve sales targets
Business development, Client site visits, cold calling, Internet, and other ways to develop new business
Continual learning of new products and services to best represent the company to potential clients
Proactively acts to understand client needs and identify solutions and business opportunities
Partner with AVDG, Guitar Center retail locations, Support Center, Distribution Centers, and Contact Centers to best meet the needs of clients
Create detailed reporting of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly activities

Qualification
Required
High-performing AV Sales Professional
Ability to cultivate new business development opportunities
Ability to build upon existing business relationships
Experience in assessing and promoting professional-level audio, video, and lighting products and services
Ability to create sales, orders, contracts for services
Ability to spend approximately 50% or greater time in the field generating new clients and nurturing existing clients
Ability to achieve sales targets and create steady growth within a specific area or region
Ability to create effective business plans for generating new sales leads
Ability to follow-up and follow through with self-generated leads to achieve sales targets
Experience in business development, client site visits, cold calling, and other ways to develop new business
Willingness to continually learn about new products and services
Proactive approach to understanding client needs and identifying solutions and business opportunities
Ability to partner with AVDG, Guitar Center retail locations, Support Center, Distribution Centers, and Contact Centers
Ability to create detailed reporting of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly activities
Preferred
A/V industry veteran preferred
