CBRN Technician I

K.D. Analytical, a subsidiary of Noble Supply and Logistics, specializes in providing high-quality training and support to the Military First Responder and Homeland Defense Community. The CBRN Technician will be responsible for installing, preparing, analyzing, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining CBRN equipment at client locations in the New York Metro Area.

Responsibilities

Maintain customer instrumentation between 9 am – 5pm Monday through Friday
Performs a variety of analytical and technical support work
Ability to diagnose complex equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, effectively implement solutions and/or communicate instructions to end-users
Implement and update processes to analyze known and unknown substances
Maintains effective customer communications and relations
Maintain day-to-day office operations and communications
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training and on-line meetings
Service products through an established repair and reporting process
Field and resolve customer questions and issues via phone, e-mail, or trouble ticket entry
Implement policies and procedures to ensure continuous improvement and customer satisfaction within an established ISO 9001:2015 system

Required

Minimum associate's degree in science or engineering field
Ability to diagnose complex equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, effectively implement solutions and/or communicate instructions to end-users
Ability to lift 50lbs, enough agility to navigate over 3–4-foot walls, climb ladder
Ability to pass an extensive background check
Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrate sound work ethics and be able to work independently
Ability to work as a member of a team
Analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred

Knowledge of electronics, optics, mechanics, and spectroscopy is preferred
Experience with the full MS Office suite
