Project Manager - Mission Critical (Chicago)

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating activities across several engineering disciplines on mission critical data center projects, ensuring safety, cost, schedule, and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities
Plan, organize and direct engineering projects; including, the overall safety, cost, schedule and quality of assigned projects
Ensure that the project review process and other quality control guidelines are followed
Establish project teams, coordinate activities of multiple disciplines, ensure the efficient, cost-effective utilization of staff
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture from accredited program
Minimum 7 years related experience (completion of master's degree in related field may be substituted for one year of experience)
Demonstrated success in project management
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
This position requires an individual capable of applying intensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices to broad areas of assignments
Must be capable of devising new approaches to problems encountered
Preferred
3 years or more project management experience related to the mission critical industry
Previous consulting experience
