Analyzer Technician

Enginuity Global LLC is a company that provides process automation services and innovative environmental and safety products to industrial facilities. They are seeking an Analyzer Technician responsible for the installation, maintenance, and calibration of various analyzers in gas processing facilities, while also supporting commissioning and startup at client sites.

Responsibilities

Installation, maintenance and calibration of on-stream gas chromatographs
Installation, maintenance and calibration of various utility analyzers including conductivity, PH, moisture, 02, BTU and CO
Maintain and calibrate MSA CGI monitors and other related safety equipment for the facility
Recognize malfunctions in individual equipment and perform maintenance as necessary to correct problems
Interface with SCADA, DCS, and analyzer host systems
Interpersonal skills required to interface with customers and team members
Monitor process variables and conditions to ascertain the current state of the operated process
Monitor and recognize dangerous and/or emergency conditions within the process and perform procedures necessary to remove the condition or shutdown the process in order to protect personnel, community, environment and equipment
Operate and perform activities in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures
Utilize proper Lockout/Tag out operating and safety procedures
Must be proficient in the use of PCs and PC software
Must be a self-starter and be able to prioritize work based on business needs

Installation, maintenance and calibration of CEMS analyzers

Required

5-10 years in gas processing facilities with various degrees of additional experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Must have a valid driver's license
Stable work history
Must be legally eligible to work in the US. Sponsorship is not available
Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening
Must be able to comply with customer site requirements for access/entry
Interpersonal communication skills are required in order to interface with all affected teams, personnel, and vendors; able to work in a self-directed work team
Must become proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office software modules, including Word, Excel
Must work with a minimum of supervision and be able to manage their time when given multiple tasks
Willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and respond to call outs as needed to fulfill business objectives
Regular and reliable attendance required

Preferred

Minimum of 5-10 years' work experience in a gas processing facility
Two years working with Chemical/Petroleum measurement
Be a self-starter, and ability to work with peers in collaborative efforts
Experience with a computer-based management system (SAP, Maximo)
Experience with Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures
Experience in work permit processes and procedures
Be able to diagnose, repair, and calibrate analyzers
Experience working in collaborative efforts, be a highly motivated self-starter
Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and able to respond to call outs
Two-year associates degree in instrumentation, measurement, analyzers or equivalent training
Five years' experience in the Chemical/Petroleum Industry
Experience with analyzer instrument installations and calibrations
Ability to diagnose, repair, and calibrate on line analyzers
Regular and reliable attendance required
