Hillsborough Community College is seeking a Part-Time Advanced Technician to fill positions on the Dale Mabry campus as an English for Academic Purposes Tutor. This role involves providing academic support to students through one-on-one tutoring and conducting workshops as assigned.

Responsibilities

This position primarily provides academic support to students enrolled in applicable HCC EAP courses primarily through one-on-one tutoring

The planning and conducting of workshops, generating study materials, or other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Coordinator may also be required

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's Degree in a field of study with foreign language or a field of study focusing on education or linguistics

Evening and weekend hours may be required

The selected candidate identified for this position will be required to successfully complete a Level II criminal background check, which includes fingerprinting
