Responsibilities
Facility security
Staffing a magnetometer
Screening and directing visitors
Logging evidence and writing reports when required
Assisting Investigators in collecting and analyzing information from a variety of sources
Running criminal histories providing the information to Investigators
Assisting Investigators in achieving case objectives
Responding anywhere in the Attorney General's Office in the event of emergencies
Assisting employees of the Attorney General's Office in the event of unruly or distraught clients or visitors
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or a related field or a minimum of three (3) years of law enforcement experience
Certification of an agency approved training program from the Illinois Law Enforcement Training & Standards Board
Working knowledge of law enforcement procedures
Basic knowledge of state, federal and local laws and regulations
Basic computer skills
Attendance and the ability to maintain satisfactory working relationships with other employees and the general public
