NEOGOV is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide direct and indirect speech therapy services to students at the School for the Deaf and the Blind. The role involves evaluating students, developing IEPs, and ensuring proper documentation and progress reports are maintained.

Responsibilities

Provides direct and indirect Speech therapy services as indicated on student IEP’s and monitors student progress
Evaluates students to determine need for Speech/Language services, completes written evaluation report, and develops IEP’s as appropriate
Writes progress reports and summaries of treatment for Medicaid and ensures all documentation is complete in a timely manner
Attends IEP meetings as required

Qualification

Speech-Language Therapy LicensureDegree in Speech-Language PathologyASHA CertificationCommunication ModalitiesIEP Development

Required

Requires Licensure by the SC Department of Education in Speech-Language Therapy
A Master's Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology (Communication Disorders)

Preferred

ASHA (American Speech Hearing Association) certification preferred
