Wil-Ro, Inc. is a manufacturer of high-quality truck bodies based in Gallatin, Tennessee. They are seeking an energetic and experienced Wiring Technician / Upfitter to create custom wiring harnesses, upfit truck bodies, and collaborate with engineering teams to meet client specifications.

Responsibilities

Ability to make custom wiring harnesses and install onto truck bodies
Upfit truck bodies onto commercial chassis
Install, inspect, repair, and maintain all electrical parts/lighting contained in a truck body
Ability to perform riveting, pin striping; manufacture and troubleshoot wiring harnesses
Perform installations, modifications, and repairs to transform commercial vehicles according to client specifications and industry standards
Install and integrate various upfitting components
Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to ensure accurate interpretations and implementations of client requests
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during the upfitting process
Read work order
Must be able to read blueprints
Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper care and use of tools and equipment

Required

Background in automotive repair / accessory installation
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in vehicle installations, modifications, and repairs
Proficiency in using various hand and power tools commonly used in the upfitting industry
Familiarity with electrical systems, including wiring, connectors, and troubleshooting
Knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to vehicle upfitting
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines
