Responsibilities

Perform repairs, installations and monitoring for your data center spaces
Developing an understand of all aspects of equipment that you support, and data center operations
Continuing to develop your overall skills to drive performance and improvements to current processes
Working automate where applicable with the aim towards simplification
Know when to act and are able to take direction
Paying close attention to the details involved when working within the data center environment

Required

2+ years working in an IT environment
Troubleshooting Experience on servers, networking devices, and IT equipment
Inventory management experience. Ordering, receiving, and shipping server parts
Ability to prioritize work based on business needs and urgency
Ability to communicate and write effectively in both verbal and written communication mediums
Experience taking on-call shifts and ability to respond to critical events as needed
Experience advancing issues to Senior onsite staff and management as needed
IT Hardware Concepts knowledge: RAID, SAN, X86 Architecture, Linux/Unix, Boot Process, GRUB/LILO, File Systems, Network Device configuration
