FAST Global Solutions is seeking a Laser Technician for Night Shift at their Falls City, Nebraska location. The Laser Technician will apply knowledge of lasers to assist in the setup, development, and troubleshooting of processes requiring laser processing, while also performing miscellaneous tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

Utilize software to optimally nest parts of cut sheets

Keep laser operating with steady flow

Problem solving and troubleshooting

Inspect product as per quality standards, monitoring cutting quality and making necessary adjustments

Performs light maintenance and repair to equipment used

Moves and positions materials at work site with help of other workers

Ability to move parts in and move finished product out of laser / fabrication area

Required

Qualified candidate will have an Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Must have basic language and math skills and reasoning ability

Must be able to stand continuously, walk/kneel/crouch/maintain balance frequently over the course of a 10 hour shift

Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs

Must have manual dexterity and be able to maintain a continuous firm grip

Forklift certification or ability to receive certification

Ability to work in varying temperatures and levels of humidity

Personal protective equipment will be provided by FAST and must be worn in the required areas
