Responsibilities
Performing service repairs and maintenance to rental or customer-owned equipment
Clearly communicating with customers on the status of repairs and with the Parts department to ensure parts are ordered and received in a timely manner
Accurately recording materials used and hours worked on job assignments
Maintaining a clean work environment for each project, keeping indoor and outdoor workstations clear from obstructions, and service vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment in good working condition
Maintaining a safe and secure work environment by adhering and striving to improve safety standards and reporting any suspicious activity
Completing related tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
Strong mechanical aptitude
Written and verbal communication skills
Customer service skills
Computer skills and ability to learn new software
Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in all seasons
Ability to cross train in other repair areas and help work on anything sold at Acme Equipment
Lift up to 75 lbs
Stand and walk for the majority of your shift
Frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
