NEOGOV is seeking skilled Firefighter/EMS clinicians and Advanced Life Support Only clinicians to augment their full-time staff. The role requires individuals to meet specific licensing and certification requirements to provide emergency medical services and firefighting support.

Responsibilities

Individuals must be at least 18 years of age, meet the following requirements, and submit the below documents with the application:

High School Diploma or GED

Possess a valid Maryland or National Registry EMT or Paramedic license, or Maryland CRT license. Successful candidates must obtain Maryland license or certification within 30 days of employment

Maryland Firefighter 1 certification, National Pro-Board Firefighter 1 certification or equivalent at the time of application. ALS Only clinicians are not required to possess this certification

Valid driver’s license at the time of application with two (2) years driving experience and a satisfactory driving record

One year of validated experience in driving and operating an emergency vehicle in the emergency mode is preferred

Current BLS Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certification
