The role will provide hands-on experience in design project coordination for convenience store development, focusing on foundational skills in design and collaboration with various teams.

Responsibilities
Introduce intern to the tools, processes, and methodologies used in design project coordination for convenience store development
Build foundational skills in design including floor planning, architectural, and civil design
Provide exposure to cross-functional collaboration with Real Estate, Entitlements, and Construction teams
Assist in maintaining design quality by supporting design deliverable owner review
Support prototype design development through change request development
Analyze historical design data to identify trends and opportunities for process optimization
Participate in design review meetings and contribute to variance analysis and reporting
Complete a capstone assignment
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Business or related field
Strong, clear and concise communication and writing skills
Exceptional attention to detail, time management and prioritization skills
Ability to independently lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
