Responsibilities

Play a role in the entire design process including but not limited to preliminary assessments, concept creation, design, problem resolution, drawing and specification production

Qualification

AutoCADMicroStationBIM processes3D modeling softwareConstruction documentsLow voltage systems designCommunication systems design

Required

Associate's degree (AA) Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or similar technical degree
Trained in AutoDesk AutoCAD and Bentley MicroStation software
At least 5 years working experience in MicroStation OpenBuidings or other 3D modeling software
Prior experience with BIM processes and parametric design software Autodesk or Bentley
Proficiency setting up views, view templates, sheets, and schedules for construction documents
Proficiency printing full sets of construction documents and performing PDF quality control reviews in Bluebeam
Proficiency with design coordinating with other disciplines parametric and geometric content in 3D

Preferred

Prior experience actively designing low voltage and communications systems for buildings
Experience in electrical and low voltage systems design
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation
