Maintenance Technician
Valor Oil is a third-generation family-owned business that is a leader in the petroleum distribution industry. They are seeking a Safety-Minded Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and maintenance on fuel pump equipment, manage spills, and ensure a safe working environment for both employees and customers.

Responsibilities
Service and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance on fuel pump hanging hardware, signs, facias, and other equipment
Spill Response: Respond to and manage spills at convenience store/gas station locations
Construction and Repairs: Handle basic construction tasks, including electrical, plumbing, and painting work
Filter Replacement: Replace filters as part of routine maintenance
Tank Delivery: Occasionally deliver tanks to various locations as required
Work Orders & Invoicing: Complete and close out work orders and manage invoicing while in the field
Safety Focus: Ensure all work is performed with a primary focus on safety for both employees and customers
Travel: Work within a 100-mile radius of the assigned facility, with occasional weekend callouts
Qualification
Required
Must demonstrate a strong understanding of and commitment to safety protocols in the workplace
A safety-first mindset is required. Candidates must be willing to follow safety guidelines and complete safety training as needed
Must demonstrate a strong work ethic and be reliable in attendance and punctuality
Effective verbal and written communication skills are required for interacting with team members, customers, and management
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and maintain a positive working relationship
Must possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify issues and find solutions effectively
Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks, following procedures, and meeting deadlines
Basic knowledge and experience in construction, electrical, plumbing, and painting
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems related to maintenance tasks
Ability to perform routine walking, standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting
Ability to work in various weather conditions
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Ability to obtain a Class B CDL and Hazmat certification for occasional tank transportation (additional compensation provided)
