Required

Experience managing maintenance and operations for parks, recreation facilities, or similar municipal infrastructure
Ability to describe the size and scope of the facilities or park system under oversight (acreage, amenities, number of sites, and staff)
Experience developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules, work orders, and capital improvement plans
A specific example where leadership improved operational efficiency, safety, or facility quality
Experience managing a capital improvement project from start to finish
Role in budgeting, design, contractor coordination, permitting, and construction oversight for capital improvement projects
Ability to address challenges or unexpected issues during projects
Ability to describe measurable outcomes or community impact resulting from projects
Experience overseeing a department or division, including budget management, policy development, or resource allocation
Experience with strategic planning initiatives and supporting departmental goals
Ability to learn and adapt in administrative roles, including lessons learned from experiences where responsibilities had to be grown into
