Responsibilities

Basic Sheet Metal machine operations; cutting, breaking, and sorting of parts

Participate in team and shop business problem solving activities that include quality, safety, scrap reduction, and process improvements

Meet or exceed annual safety, quality, 5-S, and productivity targets

Attend training courses as directed by management

May perform other duties, as assigned

Willingness to learn

Ensures adherence to company policies and work rules, as well as insuring a safe work environment is maintained

Maintain excellent work attendance

Maintain a cheerful and positive attitude

Strive to continually improve quality, safety, 5-S, and productivity within your areas of responsibility

Understanding and proper use of tape measure within 1/32”

Must have a valid driver’s license

Basic shop math (i.e. add/subtract/divide/multiply, whole numbers and fractions)

Must be able to read Production Orders & understand shop drawings

Familiar with common hand and power tools

Continuous standing, sitting, squatting, bending, pulling, and lifting throughout the workday

Lifting of 50 lbs or more with assistance; two-person lift or mechanical

Wear PPE when required
