Responsibilities
Perform selected non-invasive testing procedures to evaluate arterial and venous circulation
Compile test results and create reports
Complete CPT portion of superbill for each patient
Direct patients into the lab exam rooms
Filing of patient charts and related documents as needed
Faxing and copying as needed
Order medical supplies as needed
Provide coverage for other vascular technologists
Assist in training new personnel
Assist in the training of new personnel
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school graduate/GED or Associate's Degree equivalent combination of education and years of experience
Minimum of six months experience as a Vascular Technologist
Certificate of completion from a diagnostic medical school
Experience with Allscripts or other Electronic Medical Record system
Preferred
Bilingual with Spanish is an added plus
RVT certification preferred but not required
