Video & Production Specialist - Part-Time
NEOGOV is looking for a Video & Production Specialist to join their Communications team, enhancing lives through public service. This part-time role involves assisting in video coverage for city events and producing multimedia materials to promote city activities and public information.

Responsibilities
Assists in the coordination and production of original programming for public programming and for video projects
Operates equipment to record and broadcast Council meetings and other events as needed
Photographs or videotapes special events, dedications, and activities
Operates and maintains camera equipment and related materials, projectors, screens, lighting, editing and production equipment
Performs a wide variety of technical tasks associated with audio-visual productions, including camera work, lighting, sound set-up, set and site preparation, and editing
Inventories, documents, and archives audio-visual production and photographic files
Provides technical support to staff hosting virtual meetings
Qualification
Required
Some experience using cameras and recording equipment, lighting, computer-based graphics, and audio/video post-production
Valid Washington State Driver's License with driving record free from frequent or serious violations. A three-year driving record abstract will be required prior to hire
Skill in the operation and maintenance of various types of audio and visual production equipment
Knowledge of multimedia production and related software
Knowledge of technical aspects of computer graphics design and production
Knowledge of audio-visual archiving practices and technologies
Skill in video production, post-production and design
Skill and ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
Ability to pass a criminal background check prior to hire
Preferred
Knowledge of municipal government policies and procedures
Knowledge of copyright laws
