L1 Managed Service Provider Technician

TeamLogic IT is a leading MSP franchise with over 300 locations nationwide, and they are seeking a Level 1 Technician to join their Managed IT Services team. The role involves providing remote and on-site technical support to small and medium-sized businesses, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring a seamless client experience.

Responsibilities

Provide first-contact support for incoming requests via phone, email, and help desk portal
Troubleshoot hardware/software issues using remote tools and hands-on fixes
Perform routine updates, backups, and system monitoring
Log, track, and resolve IT incidents and service requests in line with SLAs
Maintain clear, effective communication with clients
Document client systems, configurations, and resolutions
Implement and monitor security measures
Assist with hardware/software installation and configuration
Support operations and contribute to process improvements

Qualification

Windows 10/11Microsoft 365CompTIA A+RMM toolsCloud platformsCustomer service skillsCommunication skills

Required

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or 2 years equivalent work experience
Proficiency in Windows 10/11, macOS, server OS (Server 2016/2019/2022), and Microsoft 365
Strong communication and customer service skills
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally

Preferred

Prior experience in an MSP or IT support environment preferred
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP/MCSA) are a plus
Experience with RMM tools (e.g., NinjaRMM), ticketing systems (e.g., Autotask PSA), and documentation platforms (e.g., IT Glue)
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
