Responsibilities
Assist students in validating career choices, planning career paths, and identifying job options aligned with their academic programs and personal interests. Administer and interpret career assessments
Guide students through self-assessment and development of key professional skills, including resume writing, interviewing, salary negotiation, and networking strategies
Connect students with internship, co-op, and employment opportunities by building relationships with employers, promoting job boards, and coordinating career events. Track and report on career services and internship activities, generating reports as needed
Develop and deliver workshops, classroom presentations, and outreach events in collaboration with faculty and staff to promote career readiness and student participation
Maintain and update career resources including online tools, print materials, and the career services website to ensure students and faculty have access to current, relevant content
Partner with academic departments, student services, and external stakeholders to integrate career development into academic pathways and institutional strategies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required in counseling, education, human resources, or related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in career advising, workforce development, or a related area
Preferred
Experience working with diverse student populations in higher education
