Automation Technician (onsite)

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and replace Control systems at key points in the production process
Troubleshoot non-functioning components including servos, sensors, and control components
Develop and improve HMI and SCADA systems (mostly Ignition based)
Verify data collection redundancy and security for process parameter
Log equipment usage, parts replacement, and scheduled maintenance to ensure maximum functionality
Periodically report to leadership regarding control capabilities and status

Required

Associates degree in mechanical engineering, robotics, or a closely related technical field preferred
Experience in a production environment, particularly as it relates to control technology
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Project approach experience or awareness
Excellent mechanical aptitude and communication skills
Must be proficient in multiple skill clusters including electricity and electronics, fluid power, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
