Responsibilities
Travel to job sites to provide timely mechanical support for heavy equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and transmission issues on-site
Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize equipment downtime
Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
Collaborate with field teams to schedule repairs and maintenance to avoid disruptions
Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and work completed
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with operators and supervisors
Assist with parts inventory management and ordering of supplies, as necessary
Qualification
Required
Minimum five years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic or similar role
Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems in heavy machinery
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others
Must have experience with Various Diagnostic software programs
Experience with Caterpillar, John Deere, Volvo, Komatsu, and aggregate processing equipment, Including crushers, screeners, and stackers is required
Ability to lift a minimum of fifty pounds
Valid driver's license and ability to operate various types of heavy machinery

Experience with various heavy equipment brands and models
