The Municipality of Anchorage is seeking a Seasonal Parks Caretaker I to maintain park land and facilities in a safe, clean, and usable condition for the public. This role involves park cleaning and maintenance, including homeless camp cleanup, litter collection, and general grounds upkeep.

Responsibilities

Perform park cleaning and maintenance under general supervision
Clean up illegal camps and store personal belongings as needed
Utilize safe work practices to remove trash, debris, and waste to restore Municipal property to usable conditions
Dispose of removed articles in a safe and sanitary manner
Collect litter, remove snow and ice, and maintain ice conditions
Perform general grounds and facility cleaning and repair
Other duties as assigned

Required

Three (3) months experience in lawn, landscape, trails, construction, grounds, or facility maintenance
Must possess a valid State of Alaska Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record at time of hire
